- Car seats with armrests
- Car seats with an over head shield that is lowered in front of the child after the child is strapped in the car seat
- Booster seats with armrests - Booster seats with no armrests. (It becomes a lap tray that is safely secured by the TABY Tray strap that goes under the booster seat.)
The TABY Tray does not work on the following:
- Car seats with armrests that slope significantly forward causing the tray to slip off
- Booster seats with a chest protector shield
